He ending his
talk by saying
to us: “I am blind. What is your excuse?”.
Then the hard work started. We had to work in groups and formulate
a mission statement for Funakoshi Karate.
We formulated the following mission
statement:
Funakoshi Karate develops and promotes excellence in all individuals
through the training and teaching of |
the art of karate and living the principles of Character,
Ettiquette, Effort, Sincerity and Self control.
Lastly, but not least we had to get on the floor and learn the new
5th Dan kata, Kata Nukite.
Every black belt enjoyed learning the new kata. Thank you to Shihan
for a great seminar. |
